I’m writing to you here because I wanted to be sure you got my message. Sorry I couldn’t respond earlier- no internet at home.
I’m sorry you are facing homelessness, depression, loneliness, hunger AND finding a place for you dog! This is a lot to deal with!! I can understand how terrible loneliness is- I am too. And the feeling of not knowing what to do, esp, when options are few? OH ! Not something I’d wish on an enemy.
So, what can you do? I’m glad you posted. Venting it, journaling about it can help.
When I read your words, two things that strike me. Finding a place for you to stay.
Have you checked with your human services in your town or county? They often have services for low income residents. Google county health centers or county human services and your county to find out if you can find them. When I was in WI they helped me when I was homeless. First, I stayed in a half-way house for two weeks until there was an opening in a temporary housing apt complex through a referral through my county health center. (I was in counseling with them at the time.) I don’t know if this will help you but please look into to it. Or what about shelters? I know that is not where you want to be but wouldn’t it be better than nothing?
The second thing is your dog. Is there a neighbor who can help or ask them if they know anyone who might keep the dog? I know this is weighing on your heart. I wish I had wise words.
I can understand your frustration through all of this. Keep searching. I am wishing the best for you. Please let me know how you are.
Now is the time- to take great care of YOU. Hard I know but keep going and you’ll make it.1
