A game of this caliber would cost millions so the prospects of it actually being produced and being a great game will not happen unless there’s a good kickstarter campaign with professional developers. I want the graphics to be true to life and on a virtual reality headset in first person in order to intensify the realities of the game.
I got an idea too about adding a special breathing apparatus to the VR headset that will fit in your nose. Once you choose the peaceful pill, in real life, a small amount of non-lethal ******** (just enough to briefly knock you unconscious) will be delivered into the hose. I got this idea from what Exit International head Philip Nitsche did in the play he helped produce called The Last Train to Darwin. Everyone in the audience got a supply of non harmful ******** to breathe in.
Anyways…
I want this game to offer as many choices as possible. You will be able to create character classes based on your experiences and desires thst you write down before the game starts. You can choose…
Psyche ward patient who attempted suicide. The situation could range from untreatable depression to having a terminal illness and wanted to speed up the process. In this scenario you will be able to break out of the psyche ward in order to obtain materials to end your life peacefully or by force. Example: you can break into someone’s house, steal there gun and shoot yourself, or you can do something crazy like break into a vet clinic in order to obtain the N. But remember. People will be looking for you the entire time so you must evade capture unless you want to suicide by cop but that is risky. You may wake up in the hospital pyralazed with the screen saying “GAME NOT OVER”.
You can play as an elderly man who is in the early stages of dimension. Not enough to effect his mental functions. In this scenario, you will sneak across the border to get the peaceful pill. You must watch out for criminals who try to attack or rob you etc.
you out can also play as burn victim, a prisoner who wants to commit wuicide, or someone dying from pancreatic cancer or wanting to find the peaceful pill for a loved one who’s dying,
each scenario will have its own chapter and settings.
The games backstory will include a Christian fundamentalist who was elected to the White House and signed an executive order banning all forms of euthanasia. A lot of propaganda games are shallow but I want this one to have a far deeper meaning then just shallow gameplay. The game will also include messages from pro euthanasia advocates etc.
what do you think?

I got to non lethal dose of ******** and had to read it again.
So this video game allows me to act out my suicide fantasy?
Yes. The video game is harmless but will allow you to be validated in the cyber world were your not validated in the real world
Are you concerned it might just want people to finish the job? Well maybe that is the point right? I’m conflicted abut this. I believe people have the right to end their suffering in a humane comforting way, however I don’t know … yeah got nothing tonight on this.
carry on…nothing to see here.
No not really. If they are suicidal they are going to be anyway. My goal is not to encourage suicide, but promote validation in the cyber world were there is none in the real world. The game may also be played with people who are not suicidal in order to maybe allow them to see life from our perspective. Also the game will be littered with pro choice propaganda messages etc to get points across
I also had to re-read the part about ********. I guess some people love that… bringing the concepts to life. It’s not the sort of game I’d play, but I think the ideas fit the concept well.
I don’t know if you’d want to incorporate this into the game or how you could do it, but one point worth making is that a lot of people who want to die are bedridden, housebound etc. Maybe it could be an option to play as someone searching for relief for someone else.
Well the non lethal ******** will have to be an option. Not everyone would want that. I have thought a lot about bedridden people. But I’m not sure how it can make for good game play unless there is a mode were someone else helps to get the peaceful pill and bring it to them.
That’s what I meant – you act as a sort of “advocate” on their behalf. It’s a reality for a lot of people, so it could be worth including.
I think your idea is great. Definatly want to choose classes from advocate to someone trying to get it themselves
So yall think my idea is great, just ok, or a dud? I love getting people’s opinions so I can change the concept when needed
I like the super virus idea better. But that is just me, I love epi.
So far I haven’t heard any of your ideas that I haven’t liked. Of course like I’m sure you’re aware of the industry would be pretty damn scared to work with your kind of ideas. I really like them though, and I hope that you can find an indie developer to work with for your earlier idea, this one would of course require a triple a developer. Even then, your work could literally change a generation. The controversy that would follow your games would inspire people to think about important subjects and topics that are normally pushed to the peripherals of society because they’re deemed too “unpleasant”
Have you thought of maybe a phone ap game? Those tend to have less of a story arc and they are less complicated to write.
nice ideas
I think this isn’t a community where you can run every gaming idea you have and post a new post about it multiple times a day. This is a place to tell suicide stories. I’m sorry if this is not what you want to hear…
You’re welcomed to put all of your gaming ideas in a single post and update that post and/or comments section with new ideas as you have them. Thank you.
No hate? I can understand that but this? Criticizing me on this? You already took two posts I made about my video game ideas and they had positive messages behind them too. I think they love posts like that. Maybe it takes there mind off of suicide for awhile. Maybe it brings something new to the table. Your abusing your power at this point. I cannot accept a group with an authoritarian admin that bully’s people. Let me give you some words of wisdom – CREATIVTY IS APART OF RECOVERY. your just a robot. The community is stronger than you are.
Back down okay? We won’t stand up for you, this has already gone too far and insulting the admin is just a bad idea. You’ll be one of the many to get banned from here for breaking the rules so just stop. Reread the damn rules and adjust your posts accordingly, or speak with the admin in a positive way instead of getting angry and making the situation worse than it already has to be. You know I support you, which is why I’m telling you to stop.
I have no issues with you, wndozh8er. But you vs. SP has been going on for way too long. Back on August 27th, you wrote a note titled “Leaving SP.” That note, and the comment below, offered your e-mail address, Facebook profile, etc. You wrote within that note, “I am a very outspoken person.” Regardless of one’s communication style, there are rules here.
You also wrote, “If I cannot fully be myself and express myself freely and openly on how I feel and ask questions I feel are important to me, than I won’t speak or ask at all in here.” Any site you visit typically has ‘Terms and Conditions’ that you agree to. This sites Terms and Conditions are rather thin. Very few forums anywhere will let you say what you want, when you want, regardless of whether there are rules against it or not.
If you wish to stay and follow the rules, that’s great. I hope you do. If you can’t (or won’t) follow the rules, however, then it’s only a matter of time before you get banned anyway. There is something to be said for diplomacy. Praise in public. Criticism in private.
Whether you leave or stay, I hope the path forward has more happiness.
