life is pointless and we suffer for nothing.
so lighten up
everyone is fucked in some way, they might just not show it. including the people who you think have everything.
you can analyse things all you want but in the end you’re just trying to rationalise something to feel better. you’re just going around in circles and will choose whatever answer makes you feel the best. which means it’s all a lie.
you’ll become more and more desperate for psychological stability. from people, drugs, alcohol, whatever.
accept the things you can’t change, feeling anxious or miserable isn’t going to help you. what do you want?
there’s no point of looking outside yourself for answers. most people are selfish and don’t have your best interests at heart. the more you think someone is going to fix your life or your self esteem, the more disappointed and disillusioned you’ll be eventually, when they inevitably fail to meet your expectations.
i’m not saying don’t worry about your problems, but people’s problems are mostly imaginary. everything we think is imaginary. sure, people have problems. a lot of people have really shitty problems. but there is always a way to look at the situation differently. maybe you’re just addicted to pain because it’s a way to feel something, to validate your temporary existence.
you don’t need to worry what other people think, none of it matters

That’s a Buddhist way of looking at things.
I think you’re British, too. You spell ‘analyse’ and ‘rationalise’ with an S instead of a Z.
I like how people outside of America mis-spell words. It gives ’em away. 🙂
This comment has little to do with what you wrote, I just wanted you to know that the second place speller in the 4rth grade spelling bee (at my elementary school) read your essay.
Form the hip…again tonight.
Actually, Morris….it’s the Americans that bastardised the Queen’s English. Which is the ORIGINAL English, mind you. Remember your history, please.
