Adventure time boredom anyone wanna chat?

Lol, man, Adventure Time, for me, is a reminder of a weird lesson in humility that I got once. I used to despise that show, because here I am, an artist who’s had to bust her butt trying to learn the principles of anatomy, cohesive design, and consistency for my entire life just to be taken seriously, and this random dude or chick or whoever decides to scribble noodle-armed doodle-people onto a napkin and gets a spot on Cartoon Network for it??? Ugh. Why do the undeserving people always come out on top?? So when it first aired, I didn’t bother to watch past the first ep before turning it off and writing it off as crap.

But then my baby sister became very interested in the show, so I found myself having to sit through it while I would babysit her. And I must say, I was wrong. I still wouldn’t call myself a fan, but I enjoyed it. It’s kind of well written for something on Cartoon Network, and it’s well animated and such. It’s a-okay in my book.
