Once there was a guy that was going to take his own life, when he didn’t, they ridiculed him. They said he couldn’t keep true to promises because he assured everyone he was going to end it but didn’t. Now he started doubting himself. He said he would also not be able to hold a job, or be able to support his family. But things changed, eventually he didn’t have a choice in the matter. He was forced to work and take care of his family because they weren’t going to watch him be lazy while other people did the work for him.
Life strangles you, and yes we’re failures. But some things are worth failing at. I wouldn’t want to be the biggest looser in the planet.. and if I fail at that, than maybe I won’t fail at something else.. I don’t know.

I often think it’s a shame there isn’t a society/culture that is geared towards mediocrity or failure. I’d be happier and more productive there, if that’s not just the most ridiculous oxymoron I’ve used.
There is a culture, Goth, Cynicism, Emo.. The Followers of Poe, I know it’s cliche, but if you want more you have to branch out.. Create the culture that fits your needs.
I’m on cyberpunk right now.. Which is getting sucked up by Lazer Punk.
