today i was expecting to get home and find everyone asleep again, but it wasn’t the case. for a second, i thought they were waiting for me, but as it turns out, they just lost track of time and were planning on going to bed at about 9pm. not surprising.
today my fingers hurt a lot, and me having to constantly wash dishes and such at work doesn’t help. I’ve always been clumsy and i use band aids very often, but I’ve never had 4 at the same time on my hands; it looks kinda funny, actually. i can’t type very well though, but meh.
still tired and sleep deprived, i remember when sleeping was the easiest thing ever; now i constantly fall asleep at around 4am, only to keep waking up, which makes me feel more restless, and finally give up on “sleeping” at 8am. at least i’m doing night shifts this week.

Are the band aids from cuts, from things like knives in the sink?
I haven’t worked for a bit, but when i did, i always chose nights.
It’s mad how there is always 2 sets of people on night shift. The ones who prefer it and the ones who fucking despise it. From my observation, it’s always the people who have kids who hate nights, i can understand they want to do the family thing.
Me, i prefered nights. Less people around like Supervisors always watching you.
Do you hate nights? or is it your prefered shift?
Sorry for your fingers, i can be quite clumsy myself. Usually my legs, i’m always tripping over stuff.
i do prefer nights as well, it’s like a completely different shift. i don’t exactly get to choose my shifts, but this week i got all night shift, which is nice.
and yeah, i do have to use some pretty sharp knives where i work, though we also make coffee, so my hands are not having the best of times i guess
My hands ache from my job sometimes. Wrapping them before bed has helped a couple times, and making sure they lay flat when I sleep as opposed to curled. Little things by they help a bit. Stretching your hands out to start the day too.
