It’s weird. I feel the exact same way. My parents don’t deserve me either. Sometimes I could give them a replacement daughter to love. Sometimes I imagine what it would be like for them if I never existed. Both impossible actions, but it feels good to think of them not needing me to be happy.
I can’t speak to your character from this one post, but you seem really caring and appreciative towards them. I hope you can at least give yourself that.
Whatever happens, I hope you can find a way to find a way to forgive yourself for whatever you’ve done or whatever you think you are. Because I’m positive you’re fully capable of that.
