General Half vs Half? by thedevilisclose 3/30/2021 written by thedevilisclose 3/30/2021 One might ask you, do you see the glass as half full or half empty. But… Both answers are correct. (unless we’re gonna get stupid and start measuring millimeters (liters, depending on how you’re measuring it)) 5 comments 0 Email Related posts Sh*t, I messed up 4/14/2021 losing my interest in recovery 4/13/2021 So much disappointment 4/13/2021 I feel caged in 4/13/2021 I should have done it. 4/13/2021 Antidepressants 4/13/2021 Whateves… 4/13/2021 4/13/2021 Weird. 4/13/2021 Problem Solving 4/13/2021 5 comments Abnormal.Thoughts 3/30/2021 - 8:22 am In my opinion, it depends on whether you are filling or emptying the glass. Log in to Reply thedevilisclose 3/30/2021 - 8:45 am Lol that’s a good one. Makes sense too. However I’m going to ask… What if you’re in a different room and I come in with a half a glass of cocoa. You don’t know if I emptied it or filled it. What do you call it now? (sorry if I broke your brain. If not YAY ANSWERS!!!! Lol) Log in to Reply Abnormal.Thoughts 3/30/2021 - 8:49 am If you came from another room with hot cocoa I’m assuming you’re drinking it so it’ll be half empty. Another consideration is whether you want what’s in the glass to be there. I.e. If someone is peeing in a cup and it is half full that isn’t necessarily a good thing. Just saying. Log in to Reply thedevilisclose 3/30/2021 - 10:11 am that is something that should be empty. please dont drink that XD Log in to Reply corvidaecorpse 3/31/2021 - 7:20 am it’s half full if I’m going to add something to it and half empty if I’m planning on drinking it. otherwise it’s not my problem and I probably wouldn’t think of it in any more concrete terms than [someone]’s cup or a used cup Log in to Reply Leave a Comment Cancel ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.Subscribe to comments: Don't subscribe All Replies to my comments Notify me of followup comments via e-mail.
