I know. It wouldn’t “cure” my depression but it would sure help things A TON.
And I hate how all these ppl (not on here but in general) are like “money isn’t everything, it’s not important, it’s how you perceive life, how you should be happy with that you have and not what you don’t have,” blah blah crap.
When in reality, money DOES affect well-being, health, happiness and so many things. The lack of enough money sure has a negative impact.
I made a post on a different site and people were all jumping on me about how money is not important and how money won’t bring happiness crap. Sure it won’t bring happiness, but it’d at least take me out of this noisy environment so I COULD at least get peace and quiet before I go insane. -_-
As a person who has struggled financially for years and whose been homeless twice now. Getting my hands on some money always lifts a weight off my shoulders and actually makes me happy. Because if u dont have money u feel like a burden to society and u cant do anything, ur hungry n stranded somewhere and all u can do is walk all over town cuz if u stop moving u remember how hungry n thirsty u are. People who have always been financially sound, really dont understand what its like to be deprived.
