I’m desperate.

For excuses.

For reasons.

For encouragement.

Every night I have to convince myself not to do something drastic.

I have to look at myself in the mirror, and I have to lecture myself for so long just to tell myself not to cut, not to think terrible thoughts, not to attempt suicide, not to cry, not to do anything that harms myself.

I hate being pitied. Just those sympathetic looks people give me. Or when they pass by me in the hall and ask “How are you feeling?” & “Are you okay??” I’m feeling terrible & no, I’m not okay. I feel as though i’m wearing a mask and no matter how much I want 2 I can’t b completely honest with anyone including my family and friends. I fake a smile and a laugh wen they’re catching on 2 me but it’s all a lie like I’m hiding behide a mask of fake happiness and I just can’t take it anymore I’m sick of lying.
