first off, let me start off by saying my poems are eccentric, absurdist and surrealist. Sort of if Salvidor Dali, my favorite artist, was a poet. But i poems also point out social issues and truths that adds crypto-humor to them. This one is suspose to be read like a military drill.

I know I posted earlier, and I am afraid it IS coming very soon. But I just have to get it off my chest.

I don’t deserve to work my ass off on 8-10 hour days for 3 hours of pay just to come “home” to a place I have to leave in a week, with nowhere to go after the next week, with my jobs on the line at risk of losing all income, just to cry all god damn evening until I finally pass out for the night.

I deserve a full time job that I can live off of.

Too much pain, for too long….

I’ve been in severe neuropathic pain for over a year and a half now and I just can’t take it anymore. I’ve tried killing myself by injecting air into my central line(permanent iv leading to my heart) but I just coughed all 100ccs right back out…then today I was planning on slitting my carotid artery with a large knife while I was cutting a watermelon(I have seizures so I was hoping maybe it would seem like an accident) but I got really woozy and shakey and backed out because I was worried that I’d cut the wrong thing and survive. I read up on something called emotional abuse today. Apparently I myself am being abused. To put things into context I’m in 9th grade and I live with my father. I had thought abuse was when a parent raped you or beat you up everyday. Multiple sources said it isn’t always physical. Howdy!

so this is my first post. I’ve stumbled across this site a few times but never posted. I’m currently an inpatient on line of sight in a psychiatric hospital. I’m 30, I’m a doctor and I’m married with two kids. So plenty to live for. I’ve a hold load of baggage which I’m not even going to go into.

Hello SP friends. I had planned on signing off tomorrow, but see, my fiance has an important job interview the next day. He told me if I were to do anything tomorrow, he’d never be able to go through with the interview and he’d be screwed over, as well as without me in the world.
