If you’re in a bad mood, and don’t want to stay that way, here are some simple tips to get you in a better mood.
1) Listen to some fast-paced music. The lyrics don’t have to mean anything serious, my current cheer-up song is a reggae song about ice cream made in space.
2) Watch something funny on TV or on youtube. If there was a show that you liked as a kid, search it on youtube!! (My favorite is Phineas and Ferb- it’s just so strange)
3) Eat something sweet. Usually something sweet helps your mood,
4) Look up some funny jokes or quotes. You can usually find something either funny or stupid enough to make you laugh.
5) If all else fails, cuddle something. Get a pillow or a stuffed animal and cuddle it. It can’t fight back, and it keeps you company.
I hope this helps some people. I know it helps me. Enjoy!

These are some very good suggestions. I watch America’s Funniest Home Videos to cheer myself up. Other times I watch the Golden Girls. tryingtohangon, thank you for the tips. I’ll keep them in mind.
i like the number 1…i always do it and i love it! ^__^
Depression is not a “bad mood.” If anyone within sight of my words is just in a “bad mood,” then you are at the wrong website. This is for people who are experiencing suicidal depression, not a “bad mood.” Omg.
Thanks for the suggestions. I usually go with no 2. Some vid on youtube are interesting and can distract you.
@dylan depression is more than just a bad mood, but that doesn’t mean that someone suffering with depression can’t experience positive emotion, so if you have depression, there’s nothing wrong with trying to cheer yourself up. And who are you to tell people that they don’t belong on this website? You don’t need to have depression to be suicidal, a great friend of mine killed himself two years ago, and he didn’t have depression, he was a “normal” guy that just lost everything he had, including his family.
@dylan- I think I would know that Depression isn’t a “bad mood”. I have Depression myself. So please don’t feel insulted, my words weren’t meant to harm. I just didn’t know what to say instead. Alright? I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt anyone.
