in my past i had been beaten, verbally abused, neglected, and raped. could this be why i have an eating disorder? im not quite sure what mine is tho. i usually consume less than 300 cals. a day and do an extreme workout (on dvd) 5 times. and i just wasted all of that time. i just binged out. i ate some of 3 types of chips, a sausage biscuit, a hot pocket, bag of skittles, and half a tub of icecream. why do i do this?

Your not the only one. I do that. I will binge on eating. i would exersice and stop eating. Im just a fuck up screw up child who cant make her own deicision. I always have someone make them for me. Im already down at 113. At this rate i could be slowly dying from stravation.
SuicideKillMe, im glad im not alone in this. though i usually find peace in solitude. aha. anyway. that sounds much too small. maybe we could make a pact. maybe agree to try to be healthy. i’ve been doing research on that sort of thing. [:
Hm. Well only you know the answer to that question.
And it’s not a healthy way to lose weight by starving yourself bcuz by eating only 300 cals. a day your metabolism slows down which is essential to burning fat. You see when it slows down you just mess up your entire system and you could die from heart complications. Didn’t mean to lecture you, ugh, sorry. Take care kaori33.
If you do extreme workout, your body needs more protein than usually, and also carbs, some fat, extra vitamins and minerals, plus some really good supplement especially for your joints. Your body can’t get enough of the building blocks to recover from the stress that it gets from the training. There are some really good books about sport nutrition, but you can get the basics from any major bodybuilding site or magazine. I hope this helps.
Sounds like restriction with some binging thrown in…No fun, huh? I bet you feel like you’ve lost your control–on your situation, on your body–and maybe this is your way of regaining it? Because the one thing you can control is whether or not you eat. How much you eat. What you eat. So you take it all out on yourself.
Look. I’m not here to lecture you. My best friend is anorexic, she’s been as low as 72 pounds once, and I know well enough that lecturing gets you nowhere. I will say, though, that you probably do some research and keeping track of your foods and what calories they have, etc. What about adding one more thing to do a little research on? Have you ever looked at anything about malnutrition or the way this could affect your body?
Further, I think you might want to try keeping a journal. Write down how you feel about yourself, how you feel about the things that have happened to you, about how you feel about food, etc. Then, at the beginning or end of each journal (your choice! ♥), write down two or three things that you like about yourself, or that you’re proud of. What have you done that makes you feel good about yourself? It’s not gonna be easy, especially at first, but you know what? The more you do it, the more you will see what a beautiful treasure you are to this world. 🙂 Take care, be safe ♥♥
