I am a person who has been through so much in my 24 years of life. When I was 17 I was told told by a phsycologist that I have been through more than most 80 year olds go through in there life time and that he was amazed that I didnt having a severe mental illness like schitzaphrenia or bipolar. If you want to know about my story read my post, “crushing lonleness”.
However I believe that I would not be there strong, brave and socialy gifted person that I am today if it was not for all the pain that I have not only been through but still hold inside of myself to this day.
Some people who have been through what I have would go down a path from which change is believed by most to be almost impossible. However due to the strrong sense of social justice and wisdom that I hold I have came back from that path and am now working my way into the community service sector.
It is my dream to one day be working with DCP or better known as child protection or welfare, in a manigerial postion or other high end position. A position were I can improve upon the system coming from the view of a past client.
I however only spent a few years in DCP care. My younger brothers and sisters spent their intire lives, up to this point, with in the system. From their care I have seen alot of neglect by the system and my passion to change this drives me. The anger I have inside me is not a weapon in my hands but a tool or instrument of change.
My story is often described as the epitome of hope.

Glad things are working out for you
It’s great that you have a dream. When bad things happen to us we can only do one of two things, either allow them to weaken us, or allow them to make us stronger. It sounds like you took the latter option. I hope you can acheive your goals.
