The Westboro Baptist Church, decided to protest at the funeral of Staff Sgt. Donna Johnson, who was killed in Afghanistan, by a suicide bomber. I joined a group in “Anti-protest” against the Westboro Baptist Church.
As the Church members (The five that showed up), wielded their banners about “fags” and “breast cancer is God’s curse”, I couldn’t help but shake my head in disbelief at audacity of these people. They stood on American flags, gay pride flags and did a host of disrespectful acts. I realize their main goal is to receive attention and I suppose I did help with that, but I wanted to witness first hand and look into the eyes of such people.
I have no problem with protesting. I just think that protesting at the funeral of a daughter, wife, mother, while here family and friends grieve nearby, is a defilement of the laws of humanity.
Like I said, only five showed up and were met by thousands of anti-protesters, so I guess all in all, everyone got what they wanted. The “church” got it’s attention, us anti-protesters got to voice our opinion and the family got a funeral in peace, as we guarded and separated them from the “church”.

And what does this have to do with suicide? Don’t you think your posts might find a better audience at a political or antiwar forum?
Grown men (37) praying on vulnerable little girls (15) is a much greater defilement.
Im sorry but i have to agree with jeediah
It gets worse. I just finished reading nolens blog. His strategy appears to be that he finds teenaged girls online, then mails them a copy of his book. They all appear very impressed by his book, and are open to meeting him. He has a Facebook page an the ‘most popular age group’ listed on the page is 13-17 year olds. He also has a blog where he claims to be a vampire.
I know there are some trace chemicals that you can dose paper with like xtc or acid, which will make you more open to suggestion. He could be dosing the book with these drugs so the chemical is absorbed into their skin while they turn the pages. This could make the book appear more ‘real’ to the reader.
Nolen I have a few questions: if you are a vampire, and donnie is a werewolf, who do you think would win in a fight? And if you bit donnie, would he turn into a were-vampire? How many girls have you met to try to recruit them? Isn’t it against vampiric code to ‘turn’ children? (I saw that on interview with the vampire)
Also I think chuck palahnuik wants his intellectual property back for ‘project mayhem’. Or at least some royalties. I wonder, if you mention ‘project mayhem’ in your novel, it might be grounds for plagiarism. Chuck published more than a decade before you…
Wow! I thought I was the fiction writer. You have “found me out”. I “dose” the pages with super, crazy, “I wanna’ have sex drugs”and the last pages notify girls under the age of 18 to get naked and come to my house. Now my master-plan to have an orgy with every minor on Earth, has been foiled. And I would’ve gotten away with it, if it hadn’t been for you meddling kids…and super-liberals who feel they have failed at life and decide to become gumshoes on sites where people may mistake age for wisdom.
p.s. You don’t have to wonder if I mention “project mayhem” in my book or not. You can buy a copy on Kindle or Amazon, or at your local fine book store 🙂
“when you were known as Derek, and I was apparently Riley” role playing with a 15 year old girl………really?
It’s not that people mistake age for wisdom, they can just smell bullshit from a mile away. A bullshit artist is still full of shit despite their age.
“super-liberals who feel they’ve failed at life.” last time I checked this was a suicide forum.
So what is it exactly you are doing here?
I never said anything about sex drugs. Drugs such as MDMA are well documented for their suggestive abilities. Dosing pages of a book is a technique that has been employed by propagandists in order to make the reader more susceptible to ideas contained in the literature. I would be careful of accepting anything in the mail from a stranger for this reason. I just find it implausible that teens believe that you are a vampire after reading your book! It’s quite a leap. Ill decline to buy your book thanks, I have no desire to fund ‘project mayhem’! Out of interest, the girls you sent the book to, did they buy it or did you send it for free?
Those pesky kids
