Since I see so many of you not knowing what could possibly help to get back on track, I’ll just tell you what I think are the pros of living.
*Nature. Nature’s pretty. It’s calming. And that’s why I try to keep forests and such clean and pretty. If it’s pretty for me, it’s pretty for everyone. Until there’s at least one square mile of greenery left, I will enjoy life.
*The sky. I don’t really count this as the same as nature, because it gives me a different kind of joy. Seeing it in the summer, that blue blue sky makes me think of flying like a bird. The night sky makes me think of space travel. The sky at winter makes me think of big mountains, that I’d like to climb up to. Even if I’d never climb any real mountains, you’ve gotta admire the people that do. And once you stand at the top, it must feel incredible.
*Other people. I dislike people in general, but I love helping them. I like being useful. I like getting praised, even if it’s only in their thoughts. It makes me feel good to help them. To know that even if you can’t help yourself, at least you can help someone else. As long as there’s at least one person still left that needs my advice, I will not give up.
*Psychological books. They help me get to the bottom of my and other’s problems sometimes. So I can help myself and I can help others.
*Some movies, books, anime and comic books that make me feel strong emotions. There are a lot of those. Movies and such that make me FEEL are good. They show me different sides of humanity. (Not forcing you to look into these, but I like: Fight Club, V for Vendetta, One Piece, Homestuck, Bleach, Sherlock BBC, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and so on. They help because they want the reader/watcher to feel strong emotions. Strong emotions keep off numbness.)
*My cat. Pets help. They don’t judge you. They love you because you take care of them. They love you as much as you show them love.
*Learning new facts. I like it because it might not be math or history or something else where you have to regurgitate facts in school. I like looking up facts about red-heads, albinos, Aspergers syndrome, the amygdalae and so on. It’s interesting to find new things. It’s also nice to be smart. So if the teacher asks a question in class about the Aspergers syndrome, I can safely say I know the answer 98% of the time. And getting praised for your knowledge feels good. Getting praised for something you have willingly studied and researched on your own time is good.
So what makes you guys feel like it might be worth it to live another day? Maybe you agree with some of my points, maybe you don’t. Maybe you want to add to it. I like listening to your opinions. π
