There is a fairly accurate way of judging it.. but it’s not fool-proof. The fact that you haven’t found it proves that you need to give your actions plenty more thought.
I’d suggest looking for a less painful way to die. It’s very possible that you could live and suffer quite a lot before you actual die. Just think you’d have broken bones, pelvis, ruptured organs, brain-damage and who knows what else.
I am making no recommendations cause it’s not permitted but one time I nearly choked on a large grape, cause I was laughing while watching a show. Anyways no one was home and couldn’t breathe. I didn’t panic and knew if I coughed right it’d come out and obviously it did.
There was another time I nearly choked on something else and I have to tell you, it might not be a bad way to go-both times I didn’t feel any panic or in dire need of oxygen-and I know I was close to blacking out the second time. If I was desperate and in a big hurry to die, that’s how I’d do it. Though I’d prefer hypoxia (inert gas) to anoxia (lack of O2).
Whatever your decide, just realize there are much safer and more effective ways to end it than jumping.
Which ways are safer? I have looked.
I don’t have a gun. I find it hard to put a bag over your head. Medicine is not easy to obtain. Hanging is gruesome. And then there is nothing left. But I am very grateful for suggestions. It doesn’t need to be discussed in detail, just tell me options. Btw, I am in horrific physical pain and no way of getting better, so please no need to try to talk me out of things.
Of the many that have jumped from the Golden Gate Bridge, a seemingly guaranteed method, some have lived to wish they could climb out of their wheelchair or get out of their coma and try again.

People have survived from falling out of airplanes.
