They won’t. I once had a really bad sinus cold that wouldn’t go away and took loads of good old diphenhydramine HCl for weeks. Of course by the 4th week, I was getting pretty sick of being sick and started mixing excess amounts of over-the-counter stuff (to not violate the No Methods, I won’t say what or how much) into a daily regimen for a couple days and that turned into something interesting. My pulse quickened so much that I was only breathing in short gaps and could only speak in syllables in between gasps. I eventually went to the emergency room where they told me the higher pressure had actually caused me to have an aortic aneurysm. They got the pressure down and things went back to normal.
I wish sometimes that I had waited longer to go into the ER. Maybe it would have burst and would have bled to desth
Really sucky way to die though…
