Our CULTure seems to believe that death is the worst thing that can ever happen. If someone is overdosing on heroin, the medical professionals inject them with something to bring them back. I’m thinking – just let them go! something in the addicts probably want to die anyway! Or if someone gets burned nearly to death in an accident, doctors will do everything they can to save there lives knowing that they will suffer for the rest of it. If your already out of it then the worst is over! so why bring them back just to suffer and die again? Same goes with suicide. If someone is attempting suicide or almost dead, medical professionals will once again dive into the “rescue”. If they wanted to die in the first place why just not let them finish what they started? Terri Shavio, what was her quality of life? a beating heart? and Bobbi Kristina Brown? ffs just let them go!

Agree man. My grandmother suffered a heart attack and several strokes then she went into a coma. Machines kept her alive for a whole year before she died. My selfish mother couldn’t pull the plug
My grandpa suffered for 15 years with asbestos in his lungs before he died, and my grandma died a very painful death too. My grandma and I was talking about euthanasia one day a couple years before she went. And she believed that it would have been ok to allow my grandpa to take something that will put him to sleep.
I think we need to care more about each other, whatever that entails.
I think it is too convenient to prolong someone’s life against their will, because it is your job, or the law.
I also think it is too convenient to provide an easy exit for someone you don’t know or aren’t willing to bust your ass to help save.
I think modern life is too convenient, too fractured, too rushed, too superficial.
I think we need to be close, and that is hard work, but it is what life is all about IMO.
Hell become a preacher. I agree completely.
