I read a few stories about CO poisoning and people dieing in 10 min, i turned on my car and a carborator motorcycle in the garage for an hour sitting there, got a bad headache, threw up the sleeping pills. After an hr of that, pills, i cant just pass out and let it be over?
What is drowning like, i hear its painless and you pass out as soon as water hits your lungs, you just have to be brave and inhale

Hi DarkHeartWaiting. Modern engines don’t make CO like they used to. Please don’t try to end it this way. Chances are you will just end up in a worse situation.
Is there anything you would like to talk to us about. We’re here to listen and help where we can. What has made you feel that this is your only option.
Thanks for your cares. Ihave lost everything. Everything i have worked for is gone, years are gone, oportunity gone. I cant afford to work another decade to recover and nor do i have the energy or will for it. What is agonizing is also knowing what could have been. Still i tried, i rolled the dice of chance and time and it did not work out for me.
Ive read that the CO on newer cars is not emitted as much, i thought the carborator would have helped.
I found this website amusing so decided to make an account and write a few of my thoughts and feelings before i go.
I lost everything in the dotcom crash of 2001 except a ten year old beat up pickup truck and a few boxes if clothes.
Somehow I managed to carry on, adopt and raise my son, fall in and out if love several times, gain 70 and lose 112 lbs, learn some new skills, couch surf to Canada and back, and learn how to cook. Unfortunately, the hair on top of my head is never coming back, but you can’t have everything.
For creatures that have evolved unparalleled pattern recognition over millions of years, we are notoriously bad at seeing down the short road of our own personal future.
Go figure.
Hi, darkHeartWaiting. Death isn’t the answer. I’m sure there is another solution. Like koki mentioned, many of us are here for you. This is a relatively supportive site.
Also, drowning is a very painful and distressing way to die. Your body will make you hold your breath while you are under water. Carbon dioxode levels will increase in your blood and your natural instinct to breathe will kick in but your body still won’t let you breathe. This will be painful and distressing for an extended pwriod of time. Eventually your body will breathe water in an attempt to expell CO2.. You may still be conscious at this point. Thoroughly unpleasant way to go. Please don’t try.
I’m sorry you had a bad experience. Drowning sounds awful. We can’t talk about methods here, but feel free to stick around and talk about all the other stuff. Happy to listen to anything you want to get off your chest. 🙂
Yeah, cars aren’t good for CO poisioning unless you happen to have some old clunker gas-guzzler from the 1970’s. If you’re deadset on using CO, there are many other reliable methods. The only problem I would say is that if you do die by CO, it can place others in danger of inhaling the gas and getting hurt.
Drowning is said to be incredibly painful, but I don’t really recommend it. I heard CO can be painless if done ‘correctly’ but who ever knows what that means.
