It was one of these surreal sleeps I have. I am dreaming but in my dream it’s like I am awake. I can’t move or talk. I almost wonder if I had a seizure. I eventually wake up really out of it and it takes a while for me to get back to sleep. There are always some sort of vibrations, this time it was violent chills in my arms. I guess I would call it a vivid dream. I have probably had 4 or 5 of these that I actually remember. All within the past 20 years. They always scare me. Mainly because I think they could be seizures. Has anyone heard of such a thing as a sleep seizure? I don’t take any medication that could cause such a thing. I was so tired this morning and struggled through my morning routine and I can’t help to think it’s related. I have enough trouble sleeping and need to sleep well to keep sane. My doctor’s already think I’m a hypochondriac. This stuff messes with me bad.

Does it sound like this?

Yes, a lot like that. There was some mention of spirits in that article and I remember the part of my dream before the crazy shit started, one of my recently passed residents was in the hall of my place of employment going up and down the halls “cleaning” the floor with her slippers. That’s when it all faded to my bedroom and I was talking to her but it wasn’t her it was 2 rolls of paper towel and they flew out through my window <—-don't ask! Then the paralysis started and vibration. I get so scared. I am honestly afraid to go to sleep tonight.
Sleep paralysis, yup. I’ve had the same happen to me a few times, along with the vibration thing (which to me felt like electrical current). The extent of that vibration varies, but i’ve had some pretty hard ones, in which i honestly thought i was going to die (hard to breathe), and that vibration went on in at least the complete right side of my body. No explanation either, just sort of happens once in a while.
Exactly. The level of vibrations do vary and it’s not too often but it’s seriously scary.
yup sleep paralysis. It happens to me when I am really stressed and sleeping too much. OMG does it suck, and terrifying, so damn terrifying. Sometimes it is like you described, sometimes I live out a whole day only to wake up and live a whole day only to wake up…repeat this like some kind of middle class old lady Inception fantasy.
I was pretty stressed last night when I went to bed. I’m sick too with a cold and my asthma flared bad today too.
Two days ago or so I was suddenly awoken from my sleep but I couldn’t move at all and felt like something was suffocating me. I was standing face down and I couldn’t move or breathe and something was on top of me holding my hands and keeping them pressed.
Could it be the same “person” who was having “her” way with me a few weeks ago in another dream? Hmm..intriguing.. Guess it’s a job for me the detective…
