I envy mass shooters. When I say Mass, not talking about 2 or 3 deaths. That’s fucking annoying and where I live my country overreacts when it comes to public shooting.
Despite how sad it maybe to some people the news media loves the coverage keeps them in business.

“Mass” shooters are special in ways that I’m fascinated with. They cross the line of Man made restrictions. (Law/Human morals) they are a perfect representation of what this disgusting Humanity really represents. We are truly barbaric always have, always will.

I see people on news after the shooting and they act all surprised and shocked and just shake my head at them. They dont want to accept that mental illness plays a role. We can’t measure insanity or treat it. Things like this will happen. Taking guns away wont work, adding more cops wont work, you cant stop people from waking up one morning and becoming the next head line.

Take note*
Always expect the unexpected.
Everyone’s action is unpredictable especially the unexpected.

Mental illness does play a role, if you consider taking one path in a dilemma is ill and one is healthy – both lead to bad outcomes, but one path leads to sharing those bad outcomes with many people. Externalizing them. But the reality is a much dirtier, more disturbing thing than the surface would suggest. We can be a violent species – the oldest recorded human remains had spear tips in their rib cages. But that’s not all we are. I think a lot of it boils down to how boring we’ve made reality, and a search for some kind of rupture in the fabric of this mundanity. Some people just don’t know how to play a long game.

I really would not at all call mass shootings unpredictable, just people don’t really care or pay attention…. I’m always envious of the victims in a mass shooting event though…. I’ve always hoped to be stuck in one one day, it seems like an experience worth having…. I don’t really want to die in one however, but that’d be fine if I did, I still would much prefer stabbing if I was to actually be murdered.

That’s an interesting perspective. I recently saw a video of a shooting in Germany that was live streamed. It sickened me, but as I thought about it later, I envied the victims in that, for them, it’s all over. Don’t get me wrong, I’d much rather that that this hadn’t happened to them. But, it’s done – all the possible tragic outcomes to their lives have been eliminated – cancer, alzheimers, lying alone in a nursing home with limited use of their bodies, the list goes on. For them, they were in the wrong place at the right time, and it cost them their lives, but it was relatively quick.

Jesus, I sound like a twisted fuck here, but in my heart, I’d prefer this to any of the other options. The decision to live or die made for me, and only a few moments notice to process it. All in all, an end of life scenario, which we will all face, could be much worse.

Cause of Death: Suicide 11/17/2019 - 5:13 pm

That’s why my motto has always been guns are for suicide, not homicide!! If you could hate someone enough to kill them, you should probably just kill yourself instead, because both of the parties will never be worth sh*t. That’s why I always advise people that suicide is better than homicide, because the public will always look down on you no matter what! If you are dead, you cannot be affected by what they feel and what someone could do could never drive you to homocide! But shooters, it doesn’t hurt to die by gunshot. You just don’t feel anything! I think we all want to live forever but sometimes things get in the way. Some people will still kill and will always kill. Mao Zedong killed a lot of people and so did Hitler. What do we know that there isn’t someone out there right now doing EXACTLY what Mao Zedong and Hitler did. I just know that at least that when I die, I will be ready. Suicide before homicide. I couldn’t murder but I’d love to die.

Agreed with Cause of Death: Suicide. Mass shooters and random killers are a special kind of loser. I don’t understand why anyone would glorify or be fascinated by them. Same arguments can be said about child rapists. Ooh they cross the line of morality… how COOL. Moral of the story… just shoot yourself. Or if you’re a rapist, just jerk off.

“Just kill yourself ” killers are not suicidal. They are obviously trying to make a point using violence. They are Full of Anger, depression, delusion stress ect. It’s a normal human effect for everyone to have these feels and yeah sure, some people can deal and cope with it.
But the rest who can’t find ways to unload.
Why Kill yourself when you can take 50 people down with you for whatever reason you believe will justify you in doing so. You really think the Vegas shooter, thought “oh yeah I’ll just kill myself instead so it feels more dignified and respected”.

Mass shooters and Child rapists are not on the same Level.

My point is that killers or Psychopaths are hugely different in brain development their perspective their emotions, wants and needs. What make them act the way they do is intresting to me atleast.

So many times I have thought how nice it would be if a mass killer would just off themselves before wreaking mayhem. But you are right, they always want to project their pain onto others. If they do kill themselves, it is usually only to avoid the personal consequences of their deed.
