Oh, yeah. Twice in middle school, and once about eight months ago.
It’s interesting, to say the least. 😛 Last time they had me stay for almost week. It’s actually very calming environment.

I don’t know. I’m kind of a weird person. And at the ward I went to the classes weren’t too bad. We only had two a day. Plus the food was good. The other petients were cool. And they let us outside to smoke. I even got a couple of the orderlies to play chess with me. It’s really just a completely different place then the rest of the world.
And seventeen isn’t too young. My fist stay in a psych ward was when I was twelve.

Well, the last one I was at was an adult psych ward, so I’m not too surprised there so different. It was all very relaxed. There were like ten different classes a day, and we could pick which classes we wanted to attend. I was at a hospital called Akron General in Ohio.
What were the classes for when you went before?
Haha no wonder your’s was so laid back.We had to attend all our classes or we couldn’t leave,I would love to choose which class I would qo to!Wow that’s really far,I’m from the south and no we don’t talk country or own farms or have huqe families lol.It’s the exact opposite of what’d you’d expect over here.I had to attend uuuummmm a co-pinq class,anqer class,art class, and I don’t know,just that I wanted them to end,what about you?
I think the classes I went to were mostly art (which I actually really enjoyed) and what I guess you could call a coping class, but they didn’t call it that. 😛 I also tagged along to a couple drug/alohol/addiction classes. None of them were all that mentally-stimulating, but luckily they were only 30 to 60 minutes long. Wasn’t to bad. Of course, I was on several new(ish) medications at the time and I was pretty mellowed out the entire time.
ha that suck’s,mine are only twenty-minutes lonq but every class you have to say your name,how do you feel on a scale of one to ten,a qood copinq skill,a rule and somethinq else,I forqot.So you some weed,I’m just sayinq weed cause everybody a pothead over here so why not around the world lol.ha that’s so lucky!My medication made me feel dizzy but I wanted to feel as If I was on some bars,I would’ve tooken IT qood!:)
Ha, I hate when they make you do that introductory thing. My teachers in school always did it on the first day of the year.
And no, I’m actually not a pothead. I’m not addicted to anything (except maybe cigarettes). I just went to those addiction classes because this guy, Brian, who I had met there went to them. We hung out all day, and I was bored so I just went with him. We both knew some sign language, so we would sign to each other across the table, cracking jokes and stuff. lol.

I smoke Marlboro mostly. I’ve never had a reason to quit. I wouldn’t be able to run track anyway. I got a bum leg.
Sign language is pretty fun. If you ever get the chance to learn it, I would definitely reccomend it.

To remember sign language, you just have to do it over and over again. It really helps if you have someone to do it with.

Like I said, I wasn’t really thinking. I was in kind of a fog. And the upper-leg is where I usually do it. Very easy to hide, unless you’re going swimming. But even then I just where trunks with my usualy bathing suit. 😛

Cutting was something I started doing in seventh grade.
For me cutting has always been kind of a cathartic release. It wasn’t about the pain. I’m not a masochist. And it’s not exactly that I liked the feeling… I mean it hurts. I have a ridiculously high tolerance for pain, but, most people don’t actually *like* pain. I liked the feeling I get shortly afterward. It’s the rush of endorphines. Plus, I’ve always had a weird facination with blood. Not in a future serial killer kinda way thoug. (lol)
