I wrote a poem about what bullying did to me, what kind of effect it had on me. How it felt for me. Like the part that they took away my childhood. This poem has a lot of meanings for me, it’s really special.
You stole my heart,
you stole my mind.
You stole my happiness,
you stole my love.
You took away everything I had,
and now I’m broken,
bruised and scarred.
You’re a thief,
you’re a criminal.
But you won’t hurt me again,
’cause I’ve got a thicker skin.
I’m stronger and braver.
But you stole the little girl inside of me…

Hey, als je iemand nodig hebt om mee te praten en je verhaal te uiten ben ik er. Ben 23, heb geen last van zelfmoordneigingen, maar wel van een depressie af en toe. Nooit iets ergs zoals een poging tot zelfmoord.
Als je iemand nodig hebt om mee te praten of te chillen, ben ik er. Ik ben heel open (ook al lijkt dat niet van buiten) en wil helpen als dat nodig is.
either way, laat het me weten. maak je geen zorgen, uiteindelijk gaan we allemaal dood, dusja. het leven is er om te genieten

Wow, that poem is describing perfectly what I think about bullying. I admire how you can put this in words. (I’m not good in writing poems, I’m better in writing stories. ^^)
I also was suicidal because of bullying. Those bullies stole nearly 10 years of my life and made me sad and depressive. But now I got over it. I’m stronger than ever before and they won’t bring me down. Well, they don’t bully me anymore so it’s much easier but also if they would try again I’m more self-confident now so it wouldn’t be so easy for them as it was when I was a little child.
It’s kind of funny that I can understand the half of what you were writing in dutch because I’m from Germany and german isn’t so much different from dutch. 😀
