Apparently my ex was listening in and now he’s all sad and pissy with me because he think’s I’m over him. I’m BEYOND over him. What I’m wondering is why he gets to have an opinion, when I wasn’t allowed to care that he kept telling me that the barista at the starbucks where we had our first date is hot, and how his friend in las vegas thinks he’s cute and wants to go and have a long distance relationship…So, when I give a fuck it’s wrong, but he’s allowed to dictate what I do? I’m sorry but…HE’S A FUCKING ASSHOLE. honestly I can’t focus on that. I’m learning something new at work. Have to be using my mind if I’m going to keep from cutting. already cut too deep this morning. once I learn how to run the self checkout, I’m going to learn something else

A) you can’t stop him from having an opinion
B) you allow his opinion to affect you, by valuing his perspective on the matter
I bet you don’t want to admit that you care that he cares… but if you didn’t care, it wouldn’t bother you. You’d think it was funny to watch him writhe, after he’s been such a jerk.
“Care” does not always mean “want anything to do with.”
If you can find a way to eliminate your value of his opinion, then his opinion won’t bother you anymore, unless it motivates him to actions that cause you any sort of detriment.
Indifference is your best option here. Learn how to not care what he thinks, even if you dislike what he thinks.

What’s with you females ending up with bitches these days? I swear, everywhere I look I’ve seen relationships where the woman seems to have more fortitude about her than the male. I guess it’s borne from the fact you women can function rather well independently, and the burden of responsibility happens to always fall upon you.
