Where Are You?!?!?!

Seems to be happening a lot lately, as in I’ve seen posts disappearing left right and centre. Obviously, the author has deleted it but it’s hard not to make that observation. Did he comment on any of your posts? You could grab his email from there if so, otherwise…well, wait and see, I guess.

That’s almost as funny as the first time you get your phones back during training. 2000hrs and there’s an almighty queue outside the ablutions block, groggy troops walking out of toilet cubicles, muffled phone conversations with their girlfriends. First time anyone has choked the chicken in months.

I went AWOL with a friend of mine once. We took off to the watering hole in town (a dunger of a place, cheap drinks for civvies, 50% mark-up for servicemen…due to our antics), and I happened across this one university chick who…lawd…I could not contain myself. Anyway, I lost track of time, woke up in her apartment the next day, and was charged with being absent from duty. Punishment? $250 fine and 7 days CB. You do not want CB.

Sometimes people go on little adventures with whatever intention they may have, in the process they leave behind those who care most for them, but we all need to find our own feet. I have no idea where this guy of your’s is, but I’m hoping he’s okay and not in a spot of bother.
