Love is a lie. It’s just misery, suffering, and pain covered up by so called “trust”, but when someone you love abuses your trust, the pain is revealed. The chemicals that make you feel warm around someone only trick you. Nobody can be trusted. Trust isn’t real, there is no certainty. It’s all lies and betrayal, and it only leaves you lonely and scarred.

True story..
The more one risks, the greater the reward – but at the same time the longer and harder the fall.
Agreed there is no “certainty” … other than death and taxes. But “trust” is real, as is “love” … but they both have big down sides. Understanding that not everyone should be trusted or loved is important – many are unworthy. It’s on us to make a determination not to misplace the trust and love we give. No one should get these things “automatically” – they need to earn it and prove capable of respecting the love and trust we give them. If they abuse a small trust, we can reasonable project they will abuse a larger, greater trust so we need to recognize this and cut our losses before we expose ourselves to this greater risk.
If we stop trying, we guarantee loneliness – scars are the reminders to the lessons learned, we should look at them to remind us not to make the same mistakes in the future. Go slow and careful instead of going all in right out of the gate.
