I know I want to leave this life and all, but I’m scared of what will happen after I die..
In the family I grew up in and what I’ve been taught and so on, is that if there is indeed a god, he would send you to hell for taking your own life. In different religions it’s different outcomes, but what if I do take my life and I do get sent to hell..i’d be forced to keep reliving my life. The life i’m trying to get away from.
I always thought if there was a god, and if you did take your life, he would forgive you for your mistakes and allow you into heaven.. he’d forgive you. But, i’m always told otherwise.
I don’t believe in god myself, but I was always curious to know if he was actually there..

I believe in a god or a cause. The word god, to me, just means the one single consciousness, event or being that stands at the very earliest, farthest, or highest point of existence, responsible for everything, somehow. Its beyond our comprehension because our universe abides by laws that cause paradoxes if we try to apply those laws to all of creation they don’t work. God is an easy way to label that which is impossible, possible.
God can presumably see all our pain and know everything about all of us. That would be a simple task for an entity that created, at the very least, proven by our telescopes, at least 14.5billion light years of space in distance, probably far far more but light hasn’t reached us yet since the beginning of the universe beyond the observable universe.
Presumably, our thoughts, memories, are energy. God can likely see everything, store it, do whatever. I doubt god would not understand suicides. Religion is simply a man made way of explaining the world thousands of years ago, and in no way proves anything whatsoever.
If there’s nothingness after we die, so be it. Its hard to accept while we are alive, but before we were born we were quite complacent weren’t we, lol. I personally believe your desires and personal situation is examined in the afterlife. If you wish to reunite with relatives I think you can. If you desire a fantasy, like creating your own world up there, and live for a while, you can also. If you desire a new life, I’m sure you can be reborn in the infinite dimensions, planets, universes, galaxies and space/time which exists. Or perhaps if you simply wish to cease to exist, god can allow that also, even bringing you back if god senses that’s what you wish.
For a being that created paradoxes, any of these feats would be an simple task. I don’t think god is a genie, but I do think god sees our wishes, pains, and will always give us what our hearts truly need and desire in the end. A god who created creatures with strong desires and wants, then left them unfulfilled for eternity, would be an imperfect god. Do not confuse pain and suffering temporarily for whatever reasons (learning/our own experiences) with depriving people of closure and their wants sometime in the future, no matter how long it takes. Even if it takes eons, any perfect creator would always deliver.
I fear death yes, because i’m human and I always fear the unknown, but I don’t believe its a bad thing. I think its a glorious journey when my time comes. I have faith in the structure of the universe. The universe is not so poorly designed to create consciousness with desires and needs, then say just kidding your wiped out after 85 years forever. I can’t accept such imperfection within a perfect system.
Dude. That was deep. I like your prospective a lot. I’m less scared of dying now.
