I feel like I’m lost; I’m being sucked in to a black hole of nothingness. Every time it gets a little bit better I find that, quite soon after, everything is worse. It is like one step forwards and five backwards.

I have a recent but unfortunately permanent medical condition that causes me constant pain and fatigue and will make sustained employment difficult. Tonight I acknowledged to my partner that it does give me suicidal thoughts at times.
