why is it that it hurts so much that the loss of the love of your life, kids and marriage just make you want to die?

does anyone else think like this?

nothing I do seems to take the pain away. I’ve followed all advice concentrate on yourself, give her space, your a good man you will find someone else. My dad killed himself when I was in the third grade, so I know a bit about the damage suicide does to survivors. The grief was unbearable, I felt rejected, abandoned, unloved, angry. My mom didn’t know how to talk about it, so I was left to make sense of all of that pain and loss on my own.

I don’t think anyone knows the battle you have with your own mind. Day in and day out. Then the people who set you off yell at you and blame you as if it not their fault. Frankly if you set anyone off and blame them they will get mad. So why blame it on the person who is already upset with daily living.

Dear Reader,

My Grandpa committed suicide when he was 75 years old. He took his life in 2005, and my Dad found him. My Father. found. him! I, a 15 year old, watched as my Dad crumbled into a million pieces, literally broke down. A 6’3″ italian goomba fell to his knees in pain over the loss of his own father. I was bullied at school, wasn’t overly popular at college, only had a few ‘friends’ at Uni, got married but felt distanced at the wedding reception as though I didn’t fit in and now doing a masters degree to try and get a better job- and I don’t ‘fit’ anywhere.

I’m not sure what I’m doing here. All I know is today I feel really bad. I feel like an empty shell just living life as a robot. I am afraid of the darkness yet I want it to engulf me, I just want the pain to end.Â Â It’s been so long living with heartache and the bad memories.
