Do you have a shopping excess? Not necessarily an addiction, but going overboard sometimes. Snorly posted about the itch to buy hundreds of games, many he’ll never play. Sadlife has posted about the hundreds of anime figurines he has (I’m amazed at how you guys can keep track of how many figurines and games you have).

Do you buy a lot of stuff to feel better? I’ve been buying way too much. Granted, these are all discount items, most below $5, but I’ve bought like a crap ton. It’s only 48 days into 2017, but I’ve already bought 98 things, so about 2 a day, every day. $300. I know I shouldn’t buy so much, but the more stressed out I am and the more depressed I am, the more stuff I buy.

…or the best, depending on how you look at it. The humans who work here are as sterile, apathetic and sickening as the bleached walls. It’s funny, nature documentaries talk about how animals adapt the appearance of their surroundings as some sort of camouflage. Believe it.

Not even talking about myself, I can’t believe how many sorry saps are in here begging and pleading for help, and all they get are cold, apathetic sneers from the staff. “Stop whining or we’ll really make you suffer” is what their tyrannical stares say.

Yesterday was a bad day. I woke up feeling okay, but then suddenly the sadness hit and I descended into the darkness again, thinking dangerous thoughts yet feeling dangerously numb and empty.
