Its been awhile probably because I’ve been happy and getting good help. But now some bad decisions on my part has triggered my depression bad. I’m trying not to think suicidal but i am going to cut so I won’t. I was 2 months clean. I hate my life.
When the first rocket-scientists tried to launch their rockets into the wild blue yonder, they were laughed at because they failed miserably in their early attempts and no one believed they’d ever succeed. Had they given up, we humans would’ve never left our iconic boot-prints in the fine rigolith sand of the moon.
If there’s a lesson of any value I’ve learned in life, it is to simply keep trying (no matter what anyone says) and you’ll get better at anything you do. Mistakes and back-sliding is all a part of the process of eventually overcoming any obstacles that you face.
Don’t let your errors overwhelm you. Despite being as ‘careful’ and as aware of errors as I am, I still make the occasional idiotic blunder now and then (though at the time I might not see it that way). However I am doing things in my life that a rare few individuals have the privilege of doing-so I feel that much more emboldened.
Good luck in getting better and overcoming your depression. Don’t let your setbacks consume you or make them out to be a bigger deal than they really are. As that Aaliyah song goes ‘if at first you don’t succeed, you can dust it off and try again.’
A step back is always natural, just don’t let it become a full break down. And if you feel you already broken allow yourself to rest. Give yourself some credit, two months is a lot of time. You are stronger than you can see right now. So, you made bad decisions, don’t keep doing them. Stop. Just stop and rest.
I send you hugs, lots.
You are doing fine. And thing will be ok
