Actually, I’ve been a lurker for the longest time. On and off. Never posted before though. I don’t think I’ve ever been actually the text book definition of suicidal, but I wonder about death (and life) a lot. The last time I had been on here was about 2 years ago. So today when I came across this video, I surprised myself to suddenly find that my very first thought was to share it here on TSP.
So HELLO SPians, and here’s to life and death, our favorite oil-and-water odd couple…
Enjoy CREEP (Radiohead, 1992), performed by this raspy and wholehearted former street performer, “Mustard” (aka. Danny “Homeless”, “Cry Baby”). Like him, and probably just as Radiohead’s Thom Yorke might have been thinking back in the 90s when he wrote this piece, SumTimesIWonder just that. What the f**k am I doing here? One day. We’ll know. What we are. What we were. Doing here.

Mad props to Opie and Anthony, they’re not the funniest radio personalities imo, but this video made me appreciate them just that much more.
@anthropophobia (cool nick btw) –
Yeah, not particularly keen of these guys but they’ve hosted Mustard a few times and I love them for that. Take care!
classic song
“you’ll recognize this”, haha
YUP
@TLS –
Pokemon Go? 😉
And yeah, it’s a classic. Nothing like the original though, but some tribute performances like our man Mustard’s here really bring such a heartfelt level to its meaning, doesn’t it? I mean, it really hit home in me.
indeed,
million covers of Hallelujah, but when/the way Jeff Buckley did it, it just seemed so right
personally I don’t care much for the sound of Birdy, then of all the places, I find on SP a cover, and just hits home completely for me
hehe and not pokemon go, just liked regular pokemon back in the day…… well.. maybe still a tad.. who ever really grows up 😉
Completely agree with you on all 😉
This is my favourite version of this song ^.^
@c7482 – Cool, one of mine too! SO heartfelt *U*
