I would’ve liked to have known the bkgd of what led to this incident. I realize in some places life is cheap, people kill others over a pair of shoes.
I think in most situations, people think long and hard about such a move, as they know they’ll likely get caught…which is why they say if you’re going to take revenge, dig two holes, one for the enemy and one for yourself.
This is why I believe most of us don’t cross that line, because we don’t want to wreck our own lives.
Some said it was ‘jealousy.’ Which makes it a bit scary to think, if you’ve done better than your friends and if they decide to take you out, or if you stole their gf/wife.
Maybe there is some merit for gun-control, though I personally believe in the 2A which we don’t have in Canada. If guns are more accessible, more of these events would occur, arguably. Plus it’s harder to ki.ll someone with another tool.
There are a lot of evil, rotten people in this world who shouldn’t be around, but the trouble is under our laws, the good and bad get punished when a bad person gets what they deserve. And how do you determine who is good or evil?
idk, i haven’t searched around, and maybe no place has reported on the background/why. it should be easy for them to know since they’ve got the guy in custody. well in this case, the guy was stupid. how you think you gonna get away with this doing it in broad daylight, and after ASKING several co-workers his route? not the brightest.
Also, yes, ppl do all kinds of shit due to jealousy. my entire childhood, early teens, and early 20s were full of assholes- both males and females- being backstabbery, passive-aggressive, etc, bc they were jealous of my looks as well as my weight (i was very pretty back then). but i was also a nerd so i was smart and that just made them boil over in anger even more.
This is why I stay away from ppl. People hate you if you’re too unsuccessful and poor, or too pretty and successful. People will have ANY reason to hate on you, and they do. Before my accident, there was so much jealousy from the girls and them doing passive-aggressive nasty stuff to me. Then, after car accident, it’s “oh you’re too poor and disabled for me to hang out with.”
Fuck humans. 95% of humans are shit.
In this particular case, the murdered guy looks pretty good, and looks pretty young. if they’re childhood friends, then i assume the other guy is about the same age? but that guy is not good looking nor does he look young. i believe it if the background story was jealousy. if ppl are jealous over a pair of sneakers, then yeah, he’s probably jealous of the better looking guy.
Ya I hear you…it wasn’t until I myself felt huge limitations in life and saw others get ahead did I understand why some people might’ve been jealous of the advantages I had. I excelled in athletics and academics…I was a of a class clown and so was liked by a lot of people.
I didn’t realize then, but I was also considered attractive…girls usually don’t tell you but it’s the way they treat you that let’s you know they like you.
So definitely I too had my share of people who didn’t like me for one reason or another-like you pointed out.
I think they saw I had an advantage to get ahead in life and they didn’t and they hated it.
You are right, the guy who was shot was definitely much better looking than the shooter…so it could’ve boiled down to that and probably stole his dream girl or something.
Hate to say it but I bet those girls who were jealous of you were probably celebrating your accident…people are evil and mean out there…some like to watch others fall (and fail) in life…stems from their own insecurity.
Ya I’m with you a lot of humans are crap…but I try to be fair and give everyone a chance…most people will let you down, esp. in personal relationships.
What I don’t understand is why us “good guys/girls” get taken for granted. I’m the type to bend over backwards for family and very close friends…and yet I’m not respected for that.
I never forget when people have been good to me…and if it’s financial, I’ll try to repay them as soon as I can.
Most people just use others and throw them away when they don’t need them.
On the topic of school, I looked up some girls I had a crush on and they really lost their looks as they got older…but back in the day they were super-attractive…I don’t know why that happens.
Lol…no I mean going from their late teens to say early 30s….many people still look good at that age (if they were attractive to start with).
But some of them just lose their looks and are nearly not recognizable. This one girl gained a lot of weight…she had the cute face I remember but then she looked like an average chubby woman you’d see on the street.
A couple of others just looked like trailer trash…bit sad to see such a major change. I guess girls don’t care about their looks after a certain age, or they have kids and lose it.

well 30s i understand. the avg person does go down hill around then. but teens and early 20s? hell, i’d even give late 20s a pass (like 28,29) bc life does wear ppl down and i do see ppl age as early as 29 but usually around 35 is when i see most women age.
we see ppl in media looking great- but much of that is photoshop or surgery or injections. we’re so used to seeing women who are say, 50 or even 60, but still look so good/young (like celebrities). it does warp our view of women/aging.
remember before the internet? while we did have advertisements and celebrities and beautiful ppl in media, it was as ubiquitous as it is today. our standards of beauty and what is avg or typical or normal has very much shifted. we’re so used to seeing so much beauty online every single day that we rank everyone IRL lower now. Ex, a person who used to be a 10 is now an 8, a person who was a 7 is now just a 5. i see TONS of really beautiful women, like literal bombshells, and yes the internet is gonna be the internet but i see TONS of comments, the majority saying “she’s not pretty” or “she’s only a 6.5 at best.” I mean I have high standards for judging other ppl’s beauty too but like everyone is warped in todays time. Very pretty girls are ranked as “avg” or barely a 6.5. And bombshells are ranked as 6 or 7 instead of 9 or 10. Like insane.
And yes, I’ve talked to a lot of men (male friends) at large events where there’s lots of ppl (like meetups, parties, etc) and I’d asked them how they rank all these beautiful woman, and they seriously rank all these beautiful women so low. It definitely is because we have gotten so used to seeing so many beautiful ppl online every day, every minute of every day, that REAL beautiful ppl IRL are just “7” or something. Bc they are judged in comparison to the ppl we see online, and yeah, if you are compared against the most beautiful ppl ever, you’re only going to be a 6 or 7.
eternaldarkness5/31/2024 - 12:57 pm
i’m an ex-model so it’s not like i think “every woman is beautiful” which fat/ugly women love to say.
i’ve been around real beautiful IRL. It’s really something to see bc IRL you NEVER see so many gorgeous ppl in 1 room. and without massive photoshop/makeup/etc. most of the “beautiful” ppl we see online today are fake- take away all that makeup, lighting, photoshopping, angles, editing, etc and most of the “pretty ppl” are not really all that pretty IRL.
anyhow, our society is really fucked up when the avg man sees a beautiful girl IRL and goes “meh, she’s barely a 6.” Like dude, she isn’t caked in makeup and photoshopped or edited or had surgery. So OFC she isn’t gonna compare to ppl you see online.

That’s true, partly it’s genetics but also some people a have hard stressful life and it wrecks their looks.
I agree as well when you see so many hot girls online/media, then normal girls who would be considered to be ‘pretty’ become average and so on.
It’s a bit sad-because that standard hits all of us. I mean those models/celebs just won the genetic lottery and millions of people will never measure up until we have something like a eugenics type program…which I doubt will ever happen.
I’ve been on both sides of the fence…you could say I have unique look and to some I’m considered to be attractive, I’ve had compliments on my looks (ofc moreso when I was younger and fitter-I was advised by some to get into modeling)….but to others I was average…I think part of that maybe due to racism, as many people consider some races to be more desirable than others.
Well to your point, it’s funny that these men would rank women so low, when most of them are either hideous or average.
I mean when it comes men, there aren’t too many that are attractive from what I’ve seen in my city. But then women seem to have strange taste in men also.
I’ve also known attractive men who were ugly on the inside…selfish, obnoxious, have no gratitude or social graces. They pretend to like you until they don’t need you.
I guess it makes sense why some pretty girls avoid attractive men…what’s worse is that they can also face abuse. It’s scarier being a woman.
Soda6/1/2024 - 12:41 am
Regarding the modeling, you’re right….many who get into that field are photogenic, have the right height/proportions, facial structure…but are not necessarily ‘beautiful.’
Like you I’ve seen genuinely beautiful girls and it’s a real sight to behold…ofc the type to turn heads/stop traffic, etc.
I’ve been lucky enough to date some girls like that but I missed out on many opportunities where I could’ve.
They’re like one in a million, literally…some girls don’t even know how hot they are.
This one girl I met through friends, she wasn’t my type but she was into me…I did have the chance to date her, but at the time I just wasn’t feeling it.
I used to bug her to get into modeling and she’d always get pissed off at me for mentioning it-I was just being honest, I knew she could go to the top of the heap if she wanted or close to it.
She had chislesed features, thick wavy hair, stunning eyes…she was athletic and smart too, she was studying medicine…we’d have made a great couple I think, my sister was pushing me to date her….I’ll be honest she was from my culture and I prefer to date girls from other cultures…that was the real reason.
Ya it’s true a lot of guys are dumb enough to think what they see in fashion magazines is ‘natural’ and ignore all the editing that went it to make it look perfect.
I think it’s probably harder to be a girl in our society because if you’re pretty, you attractive a lot of scumbags…if you’re not, you might not get treated too well. For guys who are average, they can usually get by on personality.
Soda6/1/2024 - 12:48 am
I ran off on a tangent and forgot to mention, because I’ve been on both sides of the fence when it comes to looks, I know how people get treated.
When you’re considered attractive, people are a lot nicer to you, you have opportunities with girls that most guys could only dream of…so to state the obvious, it is ofc better to be goodlooking, no contest.
I think that’s why people spend so much and do so much to try to stay fit, look young, etc.
When you lose your looks, you don’t catch people’s eye any more…which is a kind of power over them….you just become an ordinary slob like the rest of them out there that few people care about….sadly.
eternaldarkness6/2/2024 - 12:25 pm
“Well to your point, it’s funny that these men would rank women so low, when most of them are either hideous or average.”
>>They’re the worst! The ones that criticize attractive women and women in general are the ugly fat ones, who take out their hatred on women.
eternaldarkness6/2/2024 - 12:31 pm
“When you’re considered attractive, people are a lot nicer to you, you have opportunities with girls that most guys could only dream of…so to state the obvious, it is ofc better to be goodlooking, no contest.”
>>No, not for many pretty women. Other girls are super jealous and are extremely passive aggressive. Pretty girls typically get bullied very early on. I was. Many others too. And as an adult, you get accused of not earning your job/title/etc. Everything you do, you get accused of getting bc of your looks and not bc of your intelligence or hard work. And it applies to non-work and non-academic things as well.
Mother, sisters, female friends (frenemies), female co-workers- they ALL gang up and attack you- passive aggressively- when you are pretty bc they are jealous af.
This was my whole life growing up. This is what I hear from other really pretty girls.
Ofc things are different on the male side- I don’t propose to know what good-looking men go through bc I don’t. Though I DO know that ugly men take out ALL their rage and anger on pretty girls, bc they’re bitter.
eternaldarkness6/2/2024 - 12:36 pm

>Yup, it’s pretty much a lose-lose situation. Women are jealous and hateful, and all pretend to be your friend, meanwhile they backstab you and talk shit about you behind your back. And men treat pretty women like objects. Or hateful that they’re beautiful. Or yes, players, aka sharks, definitely circle around pretty girls.

“What I don’t understand is why us “good guys/girls” get taken for granted.”
bc that’s how humans are. the nice ones always get taken advantage of. it’s a hard lesson i’ve learned.
The world wouldn’t be as bad if stupid people didn’t have kids.
It’s because of dumb men/women who bring kids into the world and give them terrible lives.
There some girl who was raised in a real slum in India who got some attention for being pretty and might (or did) get a modeling contract.
If it’s true I wish her well, but her parent should be sterilized for having kids in dire poverty.
She’s maybe the one in a million who escapes her horrible lot in life…but it should be illegal for people that poor to breed.
Then we look at western nations with extremes of rich/poor…my heart truly breaks for those on the bottom rungs of society…who ended up there largely through no fault of their own.
I for example was expected to go far in life, but bad things happened that knocked me off course. After a point, people just don’t care…sometimes they even kick you when you’re down.
I got into a heated argument one time with a so-called friend who is doing way better than me and he insulted me for my lower income situation…I told him off. He’s one of those idiots that had everything handed to him by his parents, but whines that he worked hard to get where he is.
At least I know which buttons I can push on him…but ya it’s a pretty shitty world. I guess it could always be worse. I guess I’m grateful I’m not homeless, but I’d never allow myself to end up there anyways….that’s when I truly check out of life.
Soda6/2/2024 - 6:16 pm
>>They’re the worst! The ones that criticize attractive women and women in general are the ugly fat ones, who take out their hatred on women.
You’d think they’d have more humility and respect…but then I’ve seen guys try to pick up a girl/compliment her, but if she turns him down, he starts calling her an ugly *****, etc…it’s cause they know they don’t have a chance so they burn that bridge, they have nothing to lose….talk about passive/aggressive.
——-
>>No, not for many pretty women. Other girls are super jealous and are extremely passive aggressive. Pretty girls typically get bullied very early on. I was.
Ya I totally believe that…jealousy can do that. I think it was the same when I got bullied by this idiot in grade school…I realized later he hated me for my smarts and being liked by others.
——-
>>Ofc things are different on the male side- I don’t propose to know what good-looking men go through bc I don’t. Though I DO know that ugly men take out ALL their rage and anger on pretty girls, bc they’re bitter.
Ya I’ve had a few attractive male friends…girls would gush over them…but guys like that were extremely rare. One guy who was an acquaintance and super-nice to me looked like one of the hot dudes in a fashion magazine.
It’s a bit sad that pretty girls have it so hard…you’d think they’d be treated better wherever they go.
——
>>Yup, it’s pretty much a lose-lose situation. Women are jealous and hateful, and all pretend to be your friend, meanwhile they backstab you and talk shit about you behind your back. And men treat pretty women like objects. Or hateful that they’re beautiful. Or yes, players, aka sharks, definitely circle around pretty girls.
Makes sense…women are pretty catty and bitchy. In my last place of work the girls there had their own cliques and they’d try to get certain people fired if they didn’t like them…nasty people.
Indeed, men treat hot girls like a notch on the belt…or abuse them when they have power over them to keep them from leaving or cheating on them-while they do the cheating.
Ya life is hard being a pretty girl…but ofc still better than being an ugly man or woman. You just have to be more careful so you don’t get used/abused by others.
it’s even MORE sad not only being treated unfairly and like crap by both men and women, but pretty women are never believed by ppl when told that they get bullied or have to work EXTRA hard to get things in life bc ppl stereotype us. Ppl think good looking ppl have it made and every single good looking person lives on easy street simply bc they’re pretty. if that was the case, then models wouldn’t be jumping off buildings committing suicide. beautiful women are sometimes the MOST unhappy ppl bc we don’t have real friends (females are too jealous) and men just want to sleep with us but not be in a real relationship or want to marry. Pretty women are routinely targeted by assholes. And most have been either unwantingly touched or assaulted or r*ped by men. Happens to WAY more pretty women than you think. Not like 10% or 20%. I think I read a study that said something like 70%. I believe it. Most of my pretty friends throughout my life actually HAVE been r*ped or SA’ed. Myself included.
Oh the model who jumped, she was used and tricked by men / had a shitty bf. OFC treated like meat. Also the modeling industry is rough. Anyhow, she jumped bc she was very unhappy with her life even though on the outside it looked like she had it all- beauty, fame, money, successful career, etc.
If you look at the origin of many porn stars, you’ll find that many of those were regular girls who got r*ped. And then many of them go into porn bc they become all mentally messed up. Like Jenna Jameson for example. I’m sure you know more about porn stars since I’m not a man lol. But many of those girls were born into poor or abusive environments. Or were SA’d before going into porn.
“Ya life is hard being a pretty girl…but ofc still better than being an ugly man or woman. ”
Is it really? If you’re an ugly woman, at least you know men aren’t out to use you or dating you just bc you’re pretty. If they have a guy, it’s usually bc the guy actually likes them. You’re not going to get predatored on. You’re not going to get r*ped. Or groped in a train or bus or have some asshole just randomly grab you. Do you know how OFTEN random ppl have grabbed me, in broad daylight? It’s easy to get away with it when you live in a large city. You grab a woman, then quickly walk out the train as the doors open. And when the girl tries to slap the guy back, he’s already out the door and the door’s closed. LOTS of men do this shit. It’s actually a VERY large problem in places like Japan. Don’t get me wrong- LOTS of men do this shit in USA too. And in crowded cities in Canada, and UK, and every major city.
If you’re an ugly fat woman, you make friends with other fat ugly woman, and hate on pretty girls together. Pretty thin girls are few and far between, so not many pretty girls you can meet and befriend. Whereas there’s TONS of fat ugly jealous girls. THEY all band together to bash pretty women.
If you’re an ugly man, it’s ok, as long as the guy is successful enough and makes enough money. Or has a good personality. YES for real, bc women’s #1 priority is NOT looks in a man. It is for men looking for women but not for us women. Women want safety, and a provider, a man who will take care of her and her children, someone who will stay with them LT and when they inevitably get old and no longer pretty. That’s what women care about. Not so much looks. As long as the guy isn’t super ugly.
I’ve never turned down an ugly guy just for his looks (unless he’s super ugly- can’t deal with that). As long as the guy is decent looking enough, but has a good caring loving personality and does well enough financially- he’s a good catch. The problem is, most ugly guys are angry and bitter. So they don’t even have a good personality.

“Well to your point, it’s funny that these men would rank women so low, when most of them are either hideous or average.”
>>They’re the worst! The ones that criticize attractive women and women in general are the ugly fat ones, who take out their hatred on women.

There’s no ‘reply button’ so I’ll create a new reply at the bottom.
“What I don’t understand is why us “good guys/girls” get taken for granted.”
bc that’s how humans are. the nice ones always get taken advantage of. it’s a hard lesson i’ve learned.
Sad but true…way of the world.
i hate this shit world.

Ya I totally believe that…jealousy can do that. I think it was the same when I got bullied by this idiot in grade school…I realized later he hated me for my smarts and being liked by others.
