Ive struggled with depression and anxiety for four years now. I know of people who have had to fight their battle for way longer than that. My friends and the people on the internet say that recovery is possible. They say hold on to hope, look at the brighter side of life, think about your future. Everyday.

Everyday, I want to give up.

Everyday, I want to end it all.

Everyday, I want it to be over.

But he is the only one holding me back.

My 5 year old brother.

I just can’tÂ Â seem to leave him alone on this cruel, harsh world.

I can’t let the world tear him up.

I can’t let him lose his big sister.

No matter how much I want to.

I can’t be selfish.

I lost my best friend to cancer. I first met her when we were 9, we played basketball on the same team. We had clicked instantly. Best friends right away. Please give advice: Do counselors help you at all during times of loss, like 2 years ago? I was told that i sleptwalked down the stairs and was found with a knife in my hand.
