So it’s been awhile since I’ve been on here. I’ve started cutting again, continued to purge and restrict, and also binge. I’ve been depressed for two years… I might not commit suicide just this second, but soon I will end my life. I’m not sure when I will finally break and not be able to handle it anymore. Nobody notices that I’m not okay.
Nobody notices the sadness in my eyes.
Nobody hears the voices in my head
Nobody notices the vomit in the toilet.
Nobody notices the cuts on my skin.
Nobody notices the stash of laxatives.
I tried to commit suicide for the third time on Friday 15th August 2014.. I took 36 quetiapine and it obviously didn’t work because I’m here to tell the tale. I was admitted into newbridge house mental health unit where i was sectioned and I discharged myself yesterday afternoon as soon as I was taken off the section.. I am currently under home treatment and they put up the dosage of my medication.. What I’m trying to say is that I never stop thinking about wanting to die.. Or should I say I’m told to die.. In my head I never hear ‘I’ […]
I came to that conclusion myself and that state of mind is what kept my suicidal thoughts in check for the past 8 years.
But now perhaps I stop believing in what I’ve came up with.
Lately I have to consciously activate my self preservation instinct on my every waking hours, and it’s so exhausting.
It’s considered more tragic when teenager commit suicide because of what they might missed out on and the fact that thing will get better.
So when I see a 63 years old man, who may have 10 or so more years left to live, chose now instead of waiting, it […]
Im so a fuck up in life it always seems that I can’t do anything right i will try to buy thing to fulfill the empty void that i feel or reduce the feeling by putting myself into situation or doing things that i feel will help with the pain but i always come back and i sit here and think why don’t i just end it I could there notting to hold me back anymore nobody would really care you would move on it seems like everyday that past my life falls apart piece by piece I’m spiraling out of control yet nobody can […]
I have been a lurker for a very long time. Reading your stories has been very cathartic for me. I don’t want anyone to have a miserable life and I wish we all had great ones but unfortunately that isn’t a reality for most of us. Life is hard and very unfair. I like that this site allows us to share our thoughts and feelings without fear. I am very depressed myself and life has been hard. I can’t find many reasons to continue on but I am too afraid to commit suicide. I’ve come to terms that this is it for me, that my life […]
maybe it’s just me, it seems like more and more I’m thinking of how I could kill myself, each passing hour is another hour of pain. sometimes I don’t even know what exactly depressed about, I just know I am. I found this site by mistake by searching ‘how to commit suicide painlessly,’ but apparently that’s impossible. I’ve thought about shooting myself but the odds of actually dyeing are slim; and I just cant bring myself to it. I have also thought about cutting it’s supposed to help. right? I just don’t know what to do anymore, it feels like I’m literally living just for […]
This is the way things are. Things could only be this way. This way, no other way.
That’s the truth of it. We’re not really in control. Even the decision to commit suicide isn’t really ours. The past built its way to this. All has been determined.
If you’ve ever tried to commit suicide and failed, the doctors tell you to spend as much time as possible with friends and people you care about. At the same time, we are told from every possible place – books, magazine articles, tv *doctors*, to cut out the people in your life who are bringing you down. There is no place to turn. This speaks volumes about this culture and society; it speaks to me. It tells me that if I’m a downer, people will cut me out of their life. That leaves suffering in silence. A 45 minute session with my shrink once a […]
things to do before you commit suicide
1. Convince your parents that you decided to suicide
2. Get legal approval
3. Arrange a farewell
Everything is getting so messed up. I’m just…. I feel unwell and sick and nervous and unsettled and unhappy and I can’t call anyone because no one is answering their phone and I feel lonely and I don’t feel good. :'(
I just said I could work an extra night next week, but on those nights I see my psychologist and I don’t like it when things don’t go in routine. My little girl side of me doesn’t like it and it’s upsetting. I usually get my mum to console me or make my decision for me she’s not answering her phones. She tells me “Call […]
I think suicide is just about the only thing I think about anymore. I doubt if I will commit any time soon as I want to record some of my thoughts to leave behind so my family knows whats been going on right in front of them. The reality for me now is that someday I will die by my own hand and nothing can change that. I don’t even have a story, all I am is a middle-class white teen with too much time on his hands. *sigh* Heading off to work, so I can think about suicide while people around me think about […]
I started cutting a couple of months ago & I really think I don’t matter on this world. But if I try to commit suicide & I fail WHAT WOULD HAPPEN? I’m scared of fail.. In the other hand I think I need help. So, I don’t know what to do.
Yesterday I wanted to commit suicide so I cut sure it wasn’t on or near the vein but I cut. Today I wanted to commit suicide so I cut right below the veins and I felt yeah I’m better now. But then the future came and my other side said “well today is pleasant isn’t it” and I thought yeah it is. “Well think about this if it is pleasant why are you still here shouldn’t you be dead anyways no one would care” so I thought ya he’s right. So I did I cut right on the veins deep deep into them I watched […]
I take pills in order to calm down. Try change that.
I take another type of pill so i do not commit suicide. Try change that.
I cut to make myself feel better. Try change that.
I write down how i am gonna die everyday. Try change that.
The thing is you can’t, and i don’t think you ever will. That is what scares me the most.
I have thought about committing suicide quite a few times, but I don’t have the guts to go through with it. I’m a burden on my family. My wife and kids would be so much better off without me. They could have a new “Dad” in their lives who didn’t screw things up and make a mess of everything. They might even get some insurance money to help them pay off the debt we’ve incurred because of me. I know it would hurt them and I know that many will say it’s selfish to commit suicide, but I’m not sure of another way to ensure […]
? Albert Camus
First option is good, instead of having a cup of coffee and thinking whether to commit or not.
i dont  know how to commit suicide or anything, but if suicide is ones only chance from a life of misery, then its not such a bad idea, right?
I always here it. Suicide is so selfish it makes everyone around you unhappy.
Here’s what i have to say to that…
Suicide is not selfish, if anything, stopping suicide is selfish, because it’s selfish to make someone stay here on this world when they are in so much pain. Or even if they think that they are having a bad effect on the world. I think that people have the right to kill themselves without being reprimanded by people who have no idea what it’s like…
Also, if someone kills themselves people should be happy for them, they discovered there emotions and acted upon them. If you […]

One reason some oppose the right to commit suicide is theological belief that is sometimes expressed this way: “God gave you life, and only God has the right to take life from you.” Using this reasoning to justify interfering with a person’s right to commit suicide is imposing religious beliefs on people who may not share those beliefs. In America where we supposedly have freedom of (and from) religion, this is wrong.
Another reason some people believe it is ethical to interfere with a person’s right to think about or commit suicide is belief in mental illness. But a so-called diagnosis of “mental illness” is a […]
