Life insurance, funerals, cemeteries, what’s the point?

I don’t understand why individuals have this drive to have “life” insurance. The person paying into it is going to be dead by the time it can be used. Let’s be honest – you can only give money to the living.

I understand that the insurance is mostly to help pay for funeral expenses. but why must we have a traditional funeral for our lost loved ones? Why not have a free get together to remember them buy?

27 Days.

No one knows. Have made most the preparations needed; Sold what I can, other than my vice, the computers and gadgets. All accounts have a emergency access person and all info is waiting. And Have begun my… ‘Slip’ … ? out of this world.

My birthday is on a Saturday, so when I take my vacation for the following week, Things will be in place already for my replacement.

Bills will be paid through the month, and my arrangements have been made with the funeral home… that was tricky.

Those who consider suicide, will you leave some money for your relatives so that they could pay for your funeral? I will go to an interview soon and hopefully get a job. I’m planning to work and earn enough money so that it would have enough for my family to pay for the funeral and I wouldn’t be a burden to them after my death.

Not having a funeral when i die, people didnt want to make the effort to see me in life so it would be the greatest of insults for them to see me in death, it’s too late then, it’s not their fault it’s just the way it is…

I will be cremated and have my ashes discarded with only my immediate family present it doesnt matter where that takes place as it makes no difference..

My classmate killed himself last week and this morning was his funeral. Many of our professors and classmates attended, specifically from our year. I’ve always had a gut feeling of dying young. I’ve had a reoccurring dream since I was 4 of it.

I’m chronically ill. I’m a sophomore in high school, though I’m home schooled. No one cared when I left. No texts, or are you okays. I’m stuck here alone, sometimes with him. My mom hates me for the bills and because her boyfriend doesn’t like me.

Just a quick post. My life sucks. I’m very suicidal am saving up to end my life maybe two months from now. But to save I have to give up tobacco which is going to be tough and kurb the alcohol. The reason that I hated the medication was not only because it made what little wits I had disappear….it was because of the false “happiness” that it seemed to give me. This is a request for advice from those who have had a family member commit suicide. I am attempting to finalize my funeral arrangements so that I can prepay for the services. I’ve been depressed for almost eight years now, since my dad passed away. I have 18 days to plan exactly how to kill myself on the 15th of October, which is my dad’s death anniversary.

So far, my options are getting a tank of helium and using that, getting out of the country and buying ******** or simply throwing myself off a building.

I always have this urge, to hurt myself 1 way or another. But it’s always in my mind.

Before I sleep, I’ll imagine falling off the stairs, or even getting some mildly serious disease, enough to the hospital. On worse days, this’ll morph into funeral services for my own, or just methods in which I die and there are people around me.
