I don’t think I can do this anymore. I thought this would be a fresh start but the same things hit me over and over again. I’m on medication but it doesn’t seem to help and I’m broke, so broke I can’t afford to continue. I can’t focus or concentrate on what needs to get done. Right now, that’s my assignments. My lecturers have extended deadlines but I still can’t go through the hurdles.

I was a sad little girl. Â 35 years later, I’m a sad little girl who’s been on just about every medication possible. Â They all stop working after a few years.

I’ve never really had a relationship. Â I’m not sure what’s so unappealing. Â Maybe my sadness is more obvious than I think. Â Men don’t even pay attention to me. Â They never have. Here’s a little about me. I’m a girl. I’m 17.

I’m bipolar.

It’s hard living with it. I don’t take medication for personal reasons.

One thing I hate is when people say suicide is selfish. In a sense it is, but people say those words out of ignorance. Nobody knows what that person was feeling, how hard their life was, or their reasons.

Bipolar disorder causes me to do some really crazy (and generally dangerous) things. It’s an odd thing, because I do these things in a snap decision, and then afterward thinkÂ “that was stupid of me” – though I don’t think through the consequences at the time.

Well it’s official. Went to the GP again today, and after a long talk with a very nice doctor (making a point of saying he was very nice because i’ve had some crappy doctors in the past) i’ve now been given a prescription for anti-depressants. I’m both happy and sad about this. Happy because finally, maybe, i might get some control over how i feel and sad because it’s actually taken medication to get this sorted out. Why wont he just come over. I thought in my head. WHY! WHY! WHY! The blood that keep dripping from my arm wouldnâ€™t stop. In the back ground the song Easy by Rascal Flatts was on. The trigger – my long-term partner ending things. Not a unique trigger and millions go through this each year. So I’m told, so I tell myself. They can get through it, why can’t I? I just keep thinking about suicide. I don’t explicitly have a plan yet, but I have a general idea of what to do. My boyfriend (the father) is beyond ecstatic and can’t wait to see our baby brought into this world, he’s given up drugs and alcohol and has got a great job to be able to be a better dad.

I’m so glad that I found this site. It’s perfect. Things have been really fucked up as of lately. My depression and disordered eating that began in 6th grade have crept back into my life somehow. I am fourteen years old.

I have depression, I am bipolar, I have borderline personality.

I take medication for what doctors have diagnosed me with.

I do not let these diagnostics define me.

I’m a past self-harmer. I’ve attempted suicide 4 times in the past 2 years.

I was admitted into the hospital for destroying my home, and attempting to end my life.
