I hate living

every time I wake up, the very first sentence is ” I hate living”.

Today it was “Am I dead yet ?”

I got a roof and something to eat, but I spend all my time alone here in my room. But it makes me feel safe, it makes me feel good doing everything I want with no one here to see me.

Yesterday I was really ready to kill myself, something deep down drove me to take a damn knife and end it all, but then I couldn’t.

to keep it brief, it’s been rough lately, and busy to the point where I cry from exhaustion when I’m not crying out of fear or desolation. Monday was the first time I’ve talked to my school counsellor, and I think I’ve found a safe place to absorb a little comfort. Confidentiality only goes so far, and if I tell him I’m suicidal he may be obliged to call my parents, but if I don’t tell him I doubt he could help me.

The panic has started to set in again as my mum has repeatedly mentioned that I have to go back to college tomorrow.

I was supposed to go out today. I broke down 10 minutes before we left due to the arguing downstairs which made the voices unbearable. I’m going out tomorrow morning now. I’m terrified. I’ve been trying to act somewhat ‘normal’, and not like everyone is trying to murder me. It’s difficult, to say the least. I can’t keep up with emotions anymore. I’m not reacting to things I’m supposed to, and I’m reacting differently than I should in other situations. I’m getting yelled at for being ’emotionless’, and I’m getting yelled at for ‘behaving inappropriately’.

Dale swerved his car drunkenly up his long sloped driveway, barely stopping before the big oak tree at the top. He stumbles out of his car, barely able to find his own legs. Today was… An Okay Day.
That’s a little better. It’s better than what I’ve been feeling for the past 3 weeks.
I have less anger, less rage, less pain, less everything I’ve been feeling lately.
I feel safe for the first time in months. I’m less paranoid. Took a walk on my own with no fear. No need to constantly look over my shoulder and scrutinize every single person walking behind me. I felt free.
