Two years ago I planned to kill myself, I had many deep reasons for wanting to do this. On the day I did it, something, only a tiny something went wrong and it stopped me for a few minutes, but during those few minutes something came over me, like a kind of light and peaceful feeling. I’m not religious so this is not one of ‘those’ posts (far from it!). I’ve always been a ‘fighter’ and overcome many tough times, and I truly believed that this time was the biggest of them all.

this month. I did something to myself that was not good. Some people cared. I began to realize that I cared less, or more, actually, that’s why the event did not kill me, I was angry, but at least I am not a vegetable. But all I am left with is rage, I am stuck with the rage, now, fractured. It is so aggravating. Why couldn’t I have just died then and there?

I saw some very popular posts that discuss the meaning of life in great detail. One in particular that caused upset was where someone suggested that suicide is not in the best interest of the ‘universe’ (?) and also doesn’t make man ‘move forward’. There is a lot of talk about society and the restrictions of it, and whether human life has a higher more spiritual meaning, or whether this is a one time only experience. 8 months ago my girlfriend walked out on her job, it was well paid and she was successful. Since I met her (4 years ago) she has had bouts of depression, but since 2 days before she quit her job, she started talking about suicide and became really depressed and dark. Literally for 8 months she’s hardly got out of bed, she talks about suicide all the time and even begged me to help her do it, which I wont. 

She sees the doctor and has medication for depression, but she hasn’t told him that she’s suicidal and she wont allow me to either, she’s sure […]

There are two types of people in this world and when one of those types commits suicide or talks of suicide, it completely clashes with the other type of person which is why that clash happens here on this site. After reading so many posts on here, it’s clear to me that people struggle with society for various reasons. Sometimes the answer is the most obvious one, there’s no need to complicate it so much.

There was a time, not so long ago that I became extremely close to checking myself out of life early. My mind was so twisted, I just figured everyone would get by fine without me.
