I’m alone. If this website has taught me anything, it’s that I’m not alone. That pain, guilt, shame, anger and sorrow echo deep inside many of us at every moment of the day. That any moment can be our last or can be our turning point. I will keep struggling today because I know things always change. Often they change back and I’m left desiring the epic release of death but at least for a moment I know I might not feel that way. There are basically 2 kinds of people: Those who are satisfied, fulfilled, at peace with life and eventual death. They cruise through whatever bumps, minor or large, that life throws at them. Through it all they have strength and resolve to go on with life, good or bad. They find or are handed success and somehow they get to live full lives with intimate relationships and lots of good times.

Some of you know I’ve been trying to learn German for almost a year now.
I love listening to music in that language, and my favorite German artists/groups are Revolverheld and Peter Fox.
Here is one of my favorites, because the words fit exactly how I feel sometimes. It’s called “Lass Uns Gehen”, which translates to “Let Us Go”. The lyrics are about that feeling when you just can’t stand it anymore and need to GET OUT.
I think most of us can relate to that here.
This is my first time being on this site. A friend of mine that I just met, told me about it. He gave me his stories and I gave him mine. We are both happy that we met each other to remind ourselves that all of us still have a reason to live.

Is what my ex would tell me when I exposed just how screwed up I really am. Generally, yes, I am too smart for this. All of us here seem very intelligent and bright. It was the day when I became fed up of everything. It was my mom who pushed me to it. I’ve been depressed a lot before I did it. I had my suicide note ready and talked to a friend whom I’d be leaving everything to. I feel such a burden for the things going on in the world, in the US, in my community, in my family, in my church, in my own mind. I no longer feel capable of carrying it. It’s ripping me inside out. I can’t take the pressure or the pain. It’s all around me and inside of me. I can’t ignore it, but I can’t bear it either. This dread is eroding my spirit.
In my opinion Stephen Hawking is one of the smartest scientists since Einstein forth. What amazes me at him is that despite saying that he is an atheist in 2014, he said once that “GOD” ( creator, divine force, some force of intelligence, etc) may exist, but he should give us more evidence about him. It’s one of those nights. I don’t want to sleep. I want to stay up with somebody and feel like I have a physical human being around with whom I can form some kind of bond. It gets dull adding a new chapter to my two novels, or writing lyrics for the next song project. It’s old, I’m tired, and I need somebody- not something. I’m about done, I’m tired of being the last child, I’m a twin, we’re the oldest, yet she gets everything, he gets everything, the baby gets everything. “How come I didn’t get to go to the restaurant?” -me. “Because we thought you were going to go outside.” -mum. “You don’t let me outside, I’m not allowed outside.
