I don’t consider myself as being mentally ill but doctors seem to think that suicidal people are just that. I’ve been suicidal for 18 years, on meds for 14 years, and in therapy for 11 years. Nothing has helped. The only reason I haven’t done it is because I don’t have a method and I’m not going to try something unless it’s almost guaranteed to work and be quick and relatively painless. Have you notice that now a days people are all doing the same things and if your unique, you become an outsider.

I look back over my life, such as one does, and can now understand the difficulties that I’ve had. Notwithstanding that I grew up in semi-severe isolation (refer other posts) I know now that I have a mental illness of some sort. I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety but these, I believe, are side issues to a greater matter not yet diagnosed. I wonder if I am on the autistic spectrum? Maybe something else?
