I hadn’t properly drank for over three months. It’s not like an achievement, the chance just hadn’t come up recently. I guess it has pros and cons. It’s good that I don’t go out on the lash every night, but then when I do drink I have to make up for the lost time. It’s a bad way of handling it, I mean I could just not drink at all.

I have bipolar disorder and I’ve tried to kill myself 5 times. Every single one was a nightmare. I’m totally with you and understand you when you say you feel hopeless, lost, worthless or in pain. My depression is with me frequently and I often wish it would end.

I’ve been dealing with depression for most of my life. Add to that a schizoaffective diagnosis and life becomes wonderful. I’m struggling. I’m on the verge of becoming a shut-in because I’m paranoid and feel people are after me. I’m not a bad person but this illness brings out my paranoia and it’s ruling me.
