I was adopted at birth, and for good reasons.

I never felt “true love” from my adopted parents even when they said so or acted like it, because in the back of their heads, I was there to fill an emotional hole before anything else.

I never had a friend who truly cared about the Universe. Maybe they weren’t smart enough or weren’t as curious as I am, but still it sucks when you can’t relate to anyone in your entourage, since virtually all the people you know of are actually “playing similar games”, and by doing so, miss the opportunity to look at things from other perspectives.

Still not getting any better. Laugh at everything. Interact with anyone. But still none. I still want to die (But I can’t. A lot of things to reconsider. It’ll be my fault if mother would go crazy, father would go back to drugs. My brothers’ lives would be affected. My girlfriend would be depressed again. I have been told by many “you’re not alone, things will get better” and I’m not saying this isn’t true, but can someone tell me the steps they have taken to feel better? Do people genuinely move on from considering suicide?

I personally have contemplated suicide for over 15 years… it’s tough to determine when I started considering it so I’ve approximated.

I realise that everyone has had different pasts and different reasons for considering suicide… but is moving past the idea of suicide, is it something that is truly genuinely possible? Moving past like never think of suicide again.
