I have severe depression

I have always had depression; never fully diagnosed, but you know, when you have something like depression it lingers and consumes you, eventually. Ive recently gone through what is the most traumatic experience of my life, last week my partner passed away, age 28.

So, I have self confidence and self esteem issues and I’ve recently been looking for a job. This would be my first professionally employed thing and I can’t seem to gain the confidence to apply anywhere. I’ve managed to ask for applications and fill them out decently with only a few mild anxiety attacks but can never turn them in. Im 21 male, living with parents, emotionally disconnected from everything, get anxiety attacks but i can control it so others don’t know. and have massive depression from when I was a kid, its getting a lot worse now.

Im getting frustrated, i tried partial suspension first two times then full suspension but chickened out after 3 seconds, then partial again.

Lately I’ve been thinking about suicide a lot and it is really starting to scare me. Today at work i almost climbed over the rail of the stairs to jump. I’ve almost taken too many meds, and I’ve been researching how much medication it would take to kill me. I started self harming about 2 months ago and I can’t stop, and it’s getting worse. I need some advice. Lately I have been worrying a lot about different things, and it is causing me to have more frequent (sometimes daily) anxiety attacks. I cannot keep taking xanax for them everytime, I don’t want to form an addiction.

Painful

I don’t understand why I feel pain like this. It’s completely unbearable. Two years ago I was diagnosed with severe depression. i’ve spent these last two years in therapy and searching everywhere for something to make me feel better. I have been having anxiety attacks since I was six years old. When I was 12 I had my first episode of major depression and at 13 made my first plan to kill myself.
