Happy Tuesday y’all…

Things have been really good and busy for me lately . I have been working and going to school.

I love my job. I have made so many new friends , and it’s given me a new perspective on everything .

Anyone you meet opens a new door for opportunity .

I don’t really have much to say other than the fact that I’ve been well. I’ve been better . I’ve been more active . I drag my self out of bed everyday . I’m engaged in school.

So everything is looking up 🙂 I hope things are great for y’all too 🙂

So I’m planning to quit my crappy retail job in the next couple of months. I’ve been thinking about it most of the 3+ years I’ve been there. I live with my folks, and they’re hoping to move within 6 months. I’m thinking I’ll go with them.

Am i perfect not at all. I wish i had more exciting imperfections besides bitterness and anger but it is what it is. If there was such thing as a sure suicide method I’d probably do it. Hanging doesn’t work well and the dam near me doesnt have a convenient way to the drop. Also its survivable imo. I had a gun once. I was scared of vegitating myself so i didn’t do it. I found this in an old notebook dated May 27th 2015 and I decided to type it out to keep it documented since I need to destroy the notebook before my family see it and hand it to my psychiatrist.

What Causes Depression?

Depression is usually caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. My depression is often triggered by negative thoughts. When I have a bad ride or receive a low grade on an assignment/test, I often begin to think of myself as a failure. I have been working on this with my psychologist. Instead of saying I should have done something, I try to apply to the future. Mornings seem to be the worst.

This is pretty different from my other posts (as I usually post poetry), but I was feeling it so I figured I might as well.

One of the things that can be found in my top-hat of issues is body dysmorphic disorder. Basically, this means that most of the time, I have a warped perception of myself.

My doctor thinks I might have an endocrine disorder since my hormones are somewhat off and due to some “symptoms” that I have like hirsutism, excessive sweating, and slight edema in the face.  I just thought that I was a hairy person (although the facial hair is relatively new), that lamictal caused the sweating (and hot flashes), and that that was just how my face is genetically (somewhat “pudgy”).  I don’t see an endocrinologist until the 14th, but she went ahead and prescribed me metformin- supposed to help regulate my hormones.  When I see the endocrinologist I’ll probably have more blood work done to see if maybe […]

I’ve spent a year and a half helping my gf through her depression/anxiety/cutting/suicide thoughts, and I am supposed to start my master’s classes in March but somehow, my parents went from paying $50-60k a year to f-ing $150k!!! Like I get adding another person to the food bill makes it go up but adding my gf to food bill with my brother living off of his school loans, should not cost that fucking much. I’m worthless to society. There, I’ve said it. There’s absolutely no use for me and there is no way I’m ever going to be of use to anyone anymore.

So I got the job, I graduated, I did it. Throughout all the torture of having those really bad lows.
